flexibility with search results
Flexibility with search results
if you misspell a candidate name i.e. 2 letters wrong way round, can the system be a bit more intuitive to recognise that, also if there was a hyphenated name, you need to remembe to put the hyphen in or they are not returned
1 voteThank you for your suggestion regarding improving the intuitiveness of our candidate name search functionality. We understand how important accurate and flexible search capabilities are to your workflow.
While accommodating all potential misspellings or variations (e.g., transposed letters) is unfortunately beyond the scope of what our search functionality can feasibly support at this time, we’re excited to share some recent enhancements that address related challenges:
- Hyphenated Names: You can now search for candidates with hyphenated names without needing to include the hyphen in your query.
- Double-Barrelled Names: Our system now recognizes double-barrelled names, allowing you to search using either part of the name and still retrieve accurate results.
We hope these updates improve your experience and streamline your search process. With these enhancements in place, we’ll be marking this idea as delivered.

The ability to do a job search for open jobs with multiple positions in which some have been filled
If we have numerous jobs with multiple positions it would be helpful to be able to search to see just the ones with open positions. i.e. there may be 3 positions and 2 placed, we want to be able to generate a list of these jobs rather than them being mixed in with open jobs with only one position to fill

Enterprise - Match the preferences selected in the primary to the secondary site and only show the ones selected on the secondary
Currently this is setting is still showing the full primary list on the secondary site for web which would be a priority to solve.

If you could cut and paste from a word document onto the documents on the database
I cannot cut and paste any text from a word document on my desktop to a formatted CV on the database.

Contract Time Capture
When a user creates a contract placement, to have a way of viewing per day / week / month to capture the total amount of time the contractor has actually worked, as well as allocating one of the rates that has been agreed to a placement booking.
This info could then be sent to our API or CSV export to go into another system.
This would also give the framework to accept actual hours worked rather than forecast ones for the Contract Sales Projections in the Reports Dashboard.

Cross-post adverts on Enterprise
For Enterprise users, it would be helpful to be able to cross-post a job across multiple databases, feeding into multiple websites owned by the same organisation.

Show candidate number in search results
On Candidate Search Results screen, show the candidate number as well as the candidate name

job authorisation
Company Credit Authorisation rather than Job Authorisation - once the company has a credit limit, you would not need to have each job authorised.

Hot Flame
It would be useful if firefish could automatically send a reminder via email or the dashboard when a candidates hot flame is due to expire. You could then decide to reselect them as a hot candidate or let the hot flame expire

set hide the Candidate Date of Birth field via a System Configuration setting as some candidate question why we need this data.
This would prevent any potential for a discrimination claim of ageism based on information requested.

Give us the option to make the 'projected sales' field mandatory
Needed in order to keep an accurate reading of the value expected from your pipeline.

Bring the timesheet approver field into the offer screen
As when compliance users finishing off the placement, they don't know who the timesheet approver is and the recruiter can't access the placement screen. This could be solved by adding timesheet approver to the offer screen like the accounts/billing contact
1 voteBy disabling the Restrict Placement Action setting, Recruiters will be able to confirm the placement once Compliance User has completed the compliance details and the candidate is Ready to Place. During confirmation of the placement, the Recruiter will be able to populate the Timesheet Approver.

Seperate HR/Accounts email addresses for placements
Whilst you can have separate emails for accounts and HR depending on whether you're in temp or perm workflow you can't set up seperate perm/temp accounts or hr email addresses
