Refining Company Searches by geography

Currently within the company module we can search on the field "town" within the company address, would it be possible to make the "county" a searchable field?

    Thanks Pauline - the reason we have chosen the town instead of county at the moment is that this is a mandatory field when creating a company so the data should be completed to be able to get search results.

    but if others are in the same boat as wanting county then lets us know :)
