When an advert is posted, candidates in the ‘prospect’ list are automatically sent a notification / link through to the vacancy. Only at this point can you go back in and access the ‘prospect list’ and view who has received notifications of the vacancy. Some of whom may not be appropriate.

We need to be able to view the "prospect" list PRIOR to the vacancy notification being released. By doing this, we could remove any individuals who have previously stated they would not want to work for a particular company because

1. They have previously worked for the business – at worst just vacated the position ;and may be insensitive to promote their previous role to them?

2. Have mentioned that they do not wish to work for company X…may not like Sales Director who they have previously worked with in a past role?

3. For whatever reason when profiling the candidate they specifically mentioned 3 organisations they would not want to work for – maybe business is up for sales / recent redundancies / uncertainty about commitment to UK market?

Whatever reason, if we have had a conversation with the candidate and continue to send them details of opportunities with companies they do not wish to work for then it does appear that we haven’t really listened to their needs. If we could just view the prospect list before the vacancy notifications are sent out it would help overcome this and save any embarrassment.
