re-instate terminated candidates back into job
sometimes in temp a candidate is extended and then terminated as not needed but the client can call back in a couple of weeks wanting the same person - at the moment, if temp has been terminated, consultant would need ot create similar job, get it authorised and go through the compliance team again instead of being able to just add the terminated candidate back into workflow

Op just left site as he had an argument with the foreman, but have since made up and is back on site tomorrow!
Need to be able to either cancel the termination, or re-instate the candidate

Good Idea. I think this would help with the admin side of knowing what a candidate has done in the past for us

100% agreed its more work and in this case would be an easy resolve

agree
operationally this is a must - we must be able to re-instate to an old job without having to add new jobs as this plays with our data results
We should also be able to amend the termination, or cancel the termination -

Likewise - agree it would make sense to not create lots of new jobs to keep things as clean as possible

Great idea for any agency in the temps market filling shifts - we often put the same temp back in a booking a week or two later and not having to create the job repeatedly would help.

We place Candidates into the same role for temporary assignments on regular basis. For example I.M. could be working at one company for 1 week and then come back to the their previous assignment, exactly the same job...but at the moment I cannot assign that person and have to create a new job, which then show them as working loads of jobs, yet they were doing the same job for the same company on numerous occasions.

We occasionally don't find out if a candidate on site has just cleared off until the timesheets come in. We'd really like our data on Firefish to reflect exact start and end dates but currently you can't terminate someone retrospectively so it can often look like someone worked with us for longer than they actually did.
