Thanks for posting.
This is currently possible using Talent Pools, which are like Saved Searches only they allow you to build dynamic candidate lists which update automatically based on your live candidate data. Talent Pools are a feature on our Professional package. I can ask one of the team to get in touch if this is something you’d be interested in?
As you’ve mentioned, this isn’t possible at the moment in a Saved Search so I’ll keep this suggestion open so it can gain support/votes from other users.

Often have multiple documents attached to the job when dealing with public sector organisations, need the ability to add more additional documents to keep everythign in one place (i.e. interview schedule, candidate pack, organisation chart specific to the role, feedback notes document from sift meeting)
Add documents from emails. Per the heading it would also be good if when a contact emails a document that we could add this to a job or the company as appropriate - e.g. signed terms, rather than having to download them from the email and upload to Firefish
