Terminations
Once a placement is terminated the candidate's status still shows as happy in current position & category is placed. Is there any way we can add something in place of these so it doesn't get mistaken for a placed candidate?

Some great improvements in our perm terminations -
1) you can reset the candidate status
2) record action notes and grade with stars
3) opt the candidate back in to job alerts and marketing
4) reopen the job and bring all the candidate that were automatically ‘not progressed’ at placement back in to the workflow
5) remove the red engagement indicator from the candidates header
And we released this last night for you – enjoy !

Hi All
Just an update on this one - We intend to tackle this one for the next release.
We will keep you posted as to when this goes to test / beta and ready to release.
Thanks Wendy

ok cool we will log for the candidate categories to pick this up and remove the colour square from the candidate and for the status I think as this may not be the same for all firefish users I will see if we can get the status dropdown to be part of the termination workflow.
i.e. when someone is terminated the recruiter has the option to change the stars and then move then to any of the dropdown options.
hopefully this covers all basis - let me know if anyone else has anything to add on this one after the next release is out (this is a 2.1 feature)
thanks Wendy

Yes I think it would be best if the category was removed.
Our terminations are nearly always peolpe pulling out after they've accepted an offer & never actually starting the role. For these we'd be happy for their status to go back to actively looking.
If there was an issue with candidate quality or they're been terminated by the employer we'd just use the stars & change their rating.

Yes we have debated about this one.
Would you like the person category to be removed i.e. not show that they were ever placed?
The candidate status i am not sure what to default this back to as yet so open to suggestions as you may have had to actually terminate or fire someone and moving them back to actively looking could also cause issues although they would potentially have a low star grade on them.
Keen to hear your thoughts
Thanks Wendy
