keyword activity searching

The ability to search for a word or phrase (Boolean enabled) in activity logs for candidates, contacts & companies. For example somebody's name, or 'invoice' or 'purchase order'. It's very common to record these details and need to refer back to them later on. Currently activity records don't fully populate to scroll up & down the entire records (probably for system performance) but that means it can take 5 - 10 minutes for heavy using clients of there's a call log you need to refer back to.
I'm aware you can filter, but yo can't search for specific details

    thanks Ross,

    I've tried this and it doesn't solve the problem. To me it appears that that just finds the candidate. I want the functionality to search all notes for specific details/information.
