Archiving Contacts and Candidates being Archived automatically?
When archiving a Contact recently who had retired, he was automatically archived as a Candidate, despite wanting to remain on our the system for interim contract roles on a part time basis.
The same happened with another Contact who wanted to stay on the system as a Candidate for Non-executive roles.
Could we try and separate the archiving process to prevent this happening across both Contact and Candidate records in future?
The only current fix is to remove the company name, but they still appear in Contact searches when looking under Name. This dilutes the end result by having them appear in the searches.

Candidates and Contacts can now be archived individually.

HI there - the candidates that have no active contact record associated to their record and are marked for deletion will be getting actioned tonight.
Can i get your success champion to contact you and see is there is something else tat can be done as that is quite unusual that all yuor candidates would also be contacts.
in terms of separating the front end workflow of this ticket that is what we are currently doing so - thanks for the nudge as i wil move this to in build.

When our database was created, everyone was imported as a candidate and client records were created from the candidate record. We really need to be able to archive the candidate record while maintaining the client record in order our GDPR message to candidates is not confusing to clients who are listed as candidates but have never been one and are not likely to be one either. Our clients are based outside the EU, where GDPR will mean nothing to the majority and therefore will cause confusion to clients who have never been candidates and English is not their native language.

Needs to be an option where one person's record card is an archived candidate but an active or visible contact. If you archive the candidate profile they don't appear as a contact.

If a registered candidate becomes a contact elsewhere (therefore is no longer looking) if you "archive" the candidate they not visible on the client page.

It would be really good that if a person is up as a client and a candidate and they are no longer or candidate or a client that you can delete one of these without deleting both of their records. This happens a lot and we have to delete both records to create the person again which is frustrating. ty

it would be beneficial for candidates who have since become clients that we can remove them as a candidate without removing them from the client record and vise verse. I think I am asking for the same stuff all of the time, so my record has not changed. Thank you

It would be good when a candidate becomes a contact that we can archive them as a candidate without them archived altogher at the moment and vise verse. ty
