  1. Refine Job Alerts & Enhance Candidate Experience

    Would it be possible to refine job alerts? - Currently when setting up job alerts it is only possible to choose from the parent categories and not from the child. It would be really helpful if the job alerts could mirror the job search functions enabling candidates to refine their job alerts.

  3. Create a Notes section on Company Summary

    It would be great to have a 'Notes' section on the Company's Summary page, for information such as 'Recruitment Freeze until xx/xx', etc. I imagine it would be easy to create and there is certainly space on the page. I currently record informaiton like this in notes from a phone call, but it's not so readily available that way.

  5. Specify if someone is primarily a contact or candidate

    Put a tick box in the heading bar of contacts rto specify them as a candidate of contact - i.e. contact only show that you get the correct page you need for each person first time.

  6. Columns to view candidates' current & required salaries in a job record

    When viewing candidates assigned to a job, the column for ‘Pay’ appears to be the candidates’ desired salary, but this is not clear and I found it to be misleading. Perhaps having both columns would be better?

  7. Interviewing internally, once a CV has been sent.

    Within a job record, once a candidate has been marked ‘CV Sent’, they cannot then be scheduled for an internal interview. As it's not always possible to meet candidates before sending their CV, but always before they meet clients, I think this would be very useful.

    when clicking on the email in a contact record to send one to them a record is automatically generated in the action history with the content in notes

  9. Select 2 Interviewers to Confirm Meetings.

    The vast majority of interviews with clients involve 2 interviewers:what about the ability to add a second interviewer when confirming external interviews? At least one should have the option to add an additional email recipient to the confirmation email, which is not possible right now, which means you have to go into sent items to then resend to the other participants in the meeting.

    When sending email confirmation to a contact, you now have the ability to CC in any other contacts from that company.

  10. Confirm Meetings with Candidates that are not role specific

    Often candidates wish to meet with us to discuss options and how we can work with them proactively to find roles and sometimes just so we are aware of them for when interesting opportunities arise. As such we often need to confirm candidate meetings that are not linked directly to a role. Currently there is no automated confirmation generated for such meetings as this is only generated when meeting a candidate against a specific requirement workflow.

  11. How do I close me items on my to do list ?

    We finding the system can be a little 'messy' and long winded to use as it does not make logical updates relating to a candidates progress i.e. when you respond to an applicant or progress them onto the next part of the process you have to remember to go back and 'close' them in various lists. They might be sitting on lots of lists: applicants, CV's sent, Internal interview etc if these all happen in one day (which is common). I currently have a candidate who with drew her application but she is still showing as suitable under the advert,…

    Are you referring to the to do list on the dashboard? If these are the lists that you mean then yes, we will doing some work in these to link up the actions to the To do list items so that you wont have to keep going back to them and closing them off.

    can we have a 'save and close' button @ the top of the page as well as the bottom, to save scrolling down? Will make whizzing round the system much quicker, and avoid us getting heaps in our open activities list : )

  13. Being able to skip automatic e-mails

    Please can we have the opportunity to 'skip' the automatic e-mail which is sent out if we add a new candidate? Often they are added later through the process, or it might be important they don't recieve communication from us.

    Hi Alison

    Thanks for posting this idea. The functionality to skip the email when regsitering a candidate is currently on our development roadmap so we will be working on this.

    I will keep you updated on the progress of this and we will announce the release of this funstionality to the firefish system once it is complete.

  14. Withdrawn/Not Progressing tracking and storage!

    Within any job, we have different options @ the top (considering, internal int, external int etc) - but our withdrawn or not progressing candidates sit (greyed out so you can't do anything with them) within 'considering'. But it would be better if we had a 'withdrawn/not progressing' option @ the top as well and candidates are moved into there.

    There also needs to be be a way of seeing in recent actions on the job page when a candidate has withdrawn or not progressed.

    Hi Leigh,

    not sure i want to split off the candidates rejected or withdrawn but understand and agree that we could try and make it easier.

    I made a posting to another enquiry http://bit.ly/c09PgC about moving more stuff on the one page and then you would have a summary of all the candidates withdrawn / rejected visible here

    in terms of seeing recent candidates rejected your should be able to see this on the job summary page in the last 5 actions and then if you click onto the action history you will see a list of all activities.

    longer term i would like to be able to offer a way of filtering the action notes.

  16. prevent accidental deletion of documents

    Please can we have a 'failsafe' check around the uploaded documents? it is very easy to hit the X to delete a document instead of opening the document and it doesn't ask 'are you sure you want to delete?', therefore you just lose the file.
