I was surprised to find this isn't a feature as it has been on every CRM I have used in recent years.

Have had this functionality in my previous CRM for years. This function saves a lot of time.

An excellent idea, this would vastly improve firefish and save so so much time. Adding candidates is a long process compared to other CRM's

Bullhorn has a feature where you can email a CV to the database and it will automatically load the candidate to the database and parse all their details. This feature was such a time saver.

This needs to be a feature! Just parsing the postcode and contact details are not enough

When uploading candidates manually or through Email it is very time consuming to have to copy address and contact details. It is common for most CRM's to parse this from a candidates CV. Will this be a feature for Firefish?

We should have up to date contact details automatically populated on the cv - I have come across quite a few records where this is not the case and you then have to spend time trying to find up to date details.

Lets get this implemented as would really help.

The details need to be kept up to date and if we capture when we upload a new CV it saves lots of time later.

We will still have the old CV to get the details off anyway but a new CV will more often than not have the new or current contact details.

Always going to be a possible concern however the data will be taken from the most up to date CV so that should resolve that in most cases.

Couldn't agree more on this idea. This not updating causes a lot of out of date information on the system.
