Great idea and would save a lot of time. When will this idea be moved to in plan? I can see it has been the top idea for some time??

Looking forward to seeing this - so much easier bringing in house to clients

This will be very useful , we have many merge requests and would be great to be able to do it ourselves, instantly internally.

Are there any updates on this one? Now we are using direct apply we are getting quite a few more duplicates due to candidates using different email addresses to apply

This is really needed!

While this idea is still being voted on, it would be marvelous to have a report that would highlight where candidates have identical first name and surname so that we could found out how many duplicates we have, and work out a process to manage them - albeit not merge them yet.

Is there any progress with this? We are beginning to come across quite a few duplicates, but it's impossible to identify them all so need a solution.

This is an essential functionality.

We are having murders with duplicated records and the worst part of it is - we can't even search for them.

When we find them, whichever record we delete, we always lose essential data and we can't retrieve it,

Please can we have an update on this idea?

Any plans to implement this soon? With candidate's re-registering for GDPR we are getting quite a few new duplicate records.

Most CRM systems I have used previously have the function to merge bot candidate and client records that for some reason have been duplicated. With us starting on our GDPR compliance this would be so much easier if the facility was there. We do not want to archive records that contain relevant information.

Every CRM system I have used in the last 20 yrs has this as a function - client data is equally if not more important to merge - we should be able to have a primary record and merge a secondary record - all contacts - notes - vacancies - interviews etc moved over. This would allow folk to constantly clean and update the system

this would be a very useful function for both clients and candidates
some clients have recently merged so it would very helpful to have records of both firms in the same place

It would be useful to have this function for both candidates and contact records as we have several duplicates and this would mean all information was in the one place with the correct contact information - particularly with the upcoming GDPR regulations, having the ability to merge, would mean all information could be managed much easier!
