Categorise the list of jobs to consider someone for a job.
Please could Firefish change the way in which we consider a candidate for a job. Currently we have to look through a very long drop down list ( with very small writing) to consider someone for a job. It would be easier if this list could be categorised by location or job.

Put some watermark text on to help explain that the control searches the title and / or the company.
Scroll bar now allows up to 100 options to come back
and …… you can now consider a candidates to multiple jobs at the same time :) BOOM BOOM,

These are excellent additions. It will be still good to be able to see the full list of jobs if possible. It will also be great when this method of searching for jobs to consider is rolled out when the candidate is first registered e.g. when Sending to Firefish from Outlook. It still has the old fashioned list. I'm sure you'll be doing this soon but it says the idea is COMPLETED.

Just to update we will just be updating the control to take the old jobs that have kept in there fixed in the next 20 mins.
the rest of the suggestions have been reprioritised to be looked at Monday.

Thanks Roddy - the problem with the sort option is that everyone was looking for a different thing to sort on so we introduced the search ability for you to enter a word that is either in the job title and / or the company.
I think the old jobs are coming through currently so we will get this fixed - thanks
Similarly I will see if the control is limited to only bringing back 10 results at a time.
Let me see if we can include multiple jobs at one time for the next update on this.
Sorry that we have gone backwards I did think this was an improvement on what you had ..

It would also be good if we could consider for more than one job at a time, particularly when doing a manual registration.

Please do not roll this out to other areas until it is more user friendly. Currently this is worse than we had before. We want to have a list but just need a list that we can find the relevant jobs. Currently, there seems to be a maximum of 10 jobs on the list, it might be including closed jobs and I'm not sure if the the Mine v All function is working. We like a list but it was difficult to look down a big list and find the relevant job (s) so would have preferred a sort facility not a search facility.

I think this is a fabulous idea. Please look at this idea as it would make our lives so so much easier. A drop down box by country or subject would be fabulous.

I agree with this idea, right now we have 50+ jobs to scroll through and are having to remember where each one is by its random number. Would be great if we could search through the jobs via category or title, just as we do when adding a job in the first place.

Great idea. we've been looking for an improvement to this for a very long time.If the list could at least be tabbed with a heading that would make it easier to find the relevant job from the list, ideally with a sort facility e.g. on Employer name or Job Title
