When logging emails from contacts email address shouldn't auto-update
When logging a contact email on the outlook extension, if they email from a different email address than usual, it auto-updates to the new one and there doesn't appear to be a workaround to this.

Improved Groupings
Improved usability and UX for users to create their own report cards – this is becoming higher priority as we make more data available.

Summary Tab - Employment dates and Also Interested In
On the summary tab of the candidate record you can see current and past employments but you cannot see the dates of these employments unless you go into the candidate profile. Would be good if these dates could also be added to the summary tab.
Currently on the summary tab of a candidate record you can see the candidates preferred discipline and location. It would good to have a snapshot of the candidates also interested option too.

Interviews
Interviews - seeing the list of interviews all in one place rather then having to keep changing the dates to see what interviews are booked .
Having all interviews in the interview section so you can see them all would be easer to manage

Email candidate's on their birthdays
It would be nice to be able to either automatically email candidate's on their birthday, or to get a task in your Dashboard To-do list as a reminder to do this.

Move the green/amber/red flagging on advert application page to the LHS.
If we can move the green/amber/red "Suitability" flagging on advert application page to the Left hand side next to "Candidate", then we can flag as we go through applications, rather than having to close the Cv view each time to flag due to the category being hidden by the open cv.
4 votesHi all,
I am pleased to announce that this change is now live.
Thanks,

Allow Recruiters to make placements when Authorisation enabled
When Authorisation is switched on at the offer stage, only Superusers/Compliance users can make the placement.
It would be great if once the offer is authorised, the user who has managed the job workflow can make the placement.

Add the booking start time to the merge fields for a temp contract booking (email: jobs/contract/Placement - Candidate (PAYE)
When placing temporary workers it would be great to include the start time in the email to Clients and candidates confirming the booking. For some odd reason the system offers this option in the earlier "offer" email but not in the email you send to confirm they are starting the placement.
Surely this is a simple fix to make the contractual placement documents more useful and reduce manual edits when confirming a booking with a client and temp.
4 votesHi Jason
You’ll now find Start Time and End Time mail merge fields available to add in the contract placement and extension email templates.
Thanks again for your suggestion!

ability to show a blurb explaining why we asking diversity questions
candidates need to be able to read an explanation of why we ask the diversity questions, so room to have a blurb above our questions
4 votesThe Description (within Website > Candidate Registration > Diversity) will now show at the top of the Diversity page of your registration form, above the diversity questions.

Allow nominated users to edit talent pools
Currently, only the creator of the talent pool can edit. We've got multiple consultants mining the same talent pools for similar skills/experience.
It's a big admin task to leave it to one person to edit, so would be useful to allow the creator to also nominate admins who can also edit the talent pools too.
4 votesTalent Pools can be set as private, shared with a particular team or shared with all users. Using these sharing options will allow you to give other users access to existing or new Talent Pools.
You can find out more on using Talent Pools here: https://fishtank.firefishsoftware.com/en/articles/4614381-using-talent-pools

Document upload tab in Candidate Portal
So when the candidate registers online etc, once they have access to their portal they can upload documents such as ID, Right to work, proof of address etc.
4 votesWe’ve now released some improvements to how Candidates Details are displayed in the Recruiter Portal and Candidate Portal.
All enabled candidates details will now be visible in the candidate record, whether they have been populated or not.
This will allow candidates to login to the candidate portal and populate details via the My Details page- this includes being able to attach documents where this field is enabled on a particular detail.
(A setting which allows each detail to be either shown or hidden in the candidate portal can be changed by contacting Support.)

Adverts - turn off candidate coding at job level
Allow us to have an option to select whether candidate coding for Disciplines and/or Specialities are automatically populated on the candidate record for applicants to a job.
I know I spend more time uncoding candidates than any other activity for live adverts. It would be good to turn this functionality off for the worst kind of jobs to save time and to avoid trash data coming onto the database and to allow us to focus on the right candidates rather than spending time sorting out the wrong ones.
4 votesWe have now developed the ability to switch off candidate preferences from being auto populated with advert preferences, for all adverts.
Just get in touch Support or your Success Champion if you’d like this setting changed.
Many Thanks

Run a report to show if a new candidate has not been contacted
I think it will be important to know particularly with regards to GDPR regulations, if we have added a new contact (from a job board for example) but not contacted them straight away. If a someone downloads a CV and doesn’t contact the candidate saying where they saw their details / why it’s relevant to contact them, this will, I think contravene regulations. The new candidate registration report shows if a pre-screen has been sent or the candidate is archived, but we often use bulk emails that don't show as being sent.
4 votesYou can now view any candidates who have not been sent your candidate agreement in the “Compliance” section of your To Do list, under “Candidates Never Requested”.
Thanks

Have a call to action instead of a "no results" message to candidates on the job search page
When you search for a job and there isn’t one that’s relevant it comes up ‘no results were found!’ can we make this a bit more exciting/call to action like ‘We’re not advertising anything that matches that criteria just now but please email us at .... as we may know of something that would interest you’
4 votesMorning all,
I’m pleased to advise that, in last night’s release, default text here was changed from, “No results were found!” to “We’re not currently advertising anything that matches that search, but we may still know of something interesting. Please send us your details.”
We’ve also added the ability to customise this message! If you’re happy with the way it is, there’s nothing you need to do. If you’d like to have a different message, please send the text you want to use to support@firefishsoftware.com and our support Fishes will be happy to help!
Thanks,
Cassandra

Avoid new registrations inputting the wrong email address
To avoid candidates adding the wrong email address please could you add a second box for candidates to confirm their email address to avoid errors. Ideally it will not be possible to copy and paste into the second box to further restrict errors.
4 votesWell good news everyone, you can now get them to confirm their email when registering/applying! This can be turned on by editing the Email Address field when configuring your registration.

Add a field requesting salary, when adding new candidate on from Outlook
Would be great if there was a field on the Auto-Rec screen when adding a new candidate from Outlook in to FF, that asks for Perm and Contract salary expectation. This would mean you don't have to add them in, then go and find them on FF and add in salary thereafter. At present it allows you to add their source, newsletter, location, role but not their salary. Thanks as always!
4 votesCompleted and if you don’t see the salaries on the outlook add in then close outlook, uninstall from your control panel and reinstall the new version here – https://fishtank.firefishsoftware.com/knowledge-bank/getting-started/installing-your-add-in.aspx
Enjoy

Related candidates
We often get couples that are both looking for new roles & wanting to start around the same time & in the same country. It'd be really handy if we could somehow link these records or simply record somewhere on each if they are related to any other candiate on the database.
4 votesThis has now been released to all thanks for everybody’s feedback
Keep swimming !
