Enable group Candidate/Contact Actions
When looking through the actions of a Candidate/Contact it would be really handy to be able to group certain types of actions.
e.g.
- meeting notes - no matter what type of meeting
- phone calls - no matter what type of phone call

Allow deleted candidates to re-register
We need a way for previously deleted candidates to be able to re-register using the same email address.
7 votesPleased to say we’ve now made some updates to what happens when a candidate is ‘marked for delete’
From now on, when you delete a candidate, their email address and candidate portal login will be deleted along with their profile details, notes and documents seven days after a candidate is marked for delete. This means that a deleted candidate will be able to re-register to your database at any time.
We’ll also be running a script to delete email addresses and candidate portal logins for all candidates who have previously been deleted. This will be completed by the end of the week.

recruitment tab on contact record
Its great that you can view a candidates recruitment tab but it would be perfect if this could be revered on a contacts record o you can see what their past recruitment history and current open jobs are with our agency.

CV Upload Date
It would be great if there was a quick way to view the date a candidates latest CV was uploaded. This would be useful information to have in search results and also as something to filter searches by.
It would also be helpful if this information could be added to a report, perhaps as a field in the candidate module of Report Builder.

We’ll be making a minor text change this week to the new column, by renaming it from ‘Last CV Upload’ to ‘CV Updated’.

Call Reporting
Adapt the Call Reporting so that Calls by Consultant can be obtained/viewed rather than just view the number of calls against target. This would make it easier to monitor and manage the quality of calls.

Send as Contact / Candidate on a Mac
It would be really helpful to be able to add a candidate or contact email to Firefish through outlook whilst using a Mac. At the moment, we have to double up work by adding batch emails if we have been out of the office using a laptop. It has become restrictive that we can't work effectively on the road.

Delighted to announce that our new version of the Outlook Add-in will be available to install after tonight’s release, having successfully come through Beta.
This version of the add-in is compatible with Office 365, Exchange 2016 and above, and can be installed on Outlook for Mac, Outlook on the web and Outlook Desktop.
The new version is currently being reviewed by Microsoft and will be available to download via the Office Store once it has been verified – we’ll be doing a soft launch of the add-in until this has been confirmed.

We would like separate compliance requirements at the placement stage for temp and perm placements. The REC say this is a legal requirement

Create address labels for easy printing of candidate and client addresses from Firefish
It would be really helpful if you could easily export a list of candidate or client addresses to then print on labels for mailers.
5 votesThe “Print Labels” option is now available within Market > Marketing Lists > “Candidate – Postal Marketing”
This list is populated by any candidates who are opted into Postal Marketing on their Subscriptions tab.

CV button - Hover to preview, click to download
New change where you can hover over the CV and preview is good.
However, going into the documents tab to download it is clunky.
Can you make it hover = preview, click = download (like it used to be).

Adverts - turn off candidate coding at job level
Allow us to have an option to select whether candidate coding for Disciplines and/or Specialities are automatically populated on the candidate record for applicants to a job.
I know I spend more time uncoding candidates than any other activity for live adverts. It would be good to turn this functionality off for the worst kind of jobs to save time and to avoid trash data coming onto the database and to allow us to focus on the right candidates rather than spending time sorting out the wrong ones.
4 votesWe have now developed the ability to switch off candidate preferences from being auto populated with advert preferences, for all adverts.

Integrate emails into Firefsh
Integrate emails / Outlook into Firefish so emails didn't need to be added each time. Email communication often happens in Outlook outside Firefish so no record or information for other staff / recruiters. Our previous system Goldmine was hopeless compared to Firefish, apart from this one point!

Delighted to announce that, thanks to your feedback, you can now log outgoing emails against candidate or contact records via the Outlook Add-in. Emails logged against candidate/contact records will display in the Recent Activity within each record – this includes email conversations being grouped into threads to make it easier to access and view email conversations.

Sending candidates/contact to FF from gmail
Would be great if you could integrate with gmail to create a similar add in as Outlook to send candidates and/or contacts to FireFish.
As a business we use Gmail and having to use Outlook just so we can interact with FF is not ideal.

Pension and/or Apprenticeship Levy Charge Rate Fields
Pension and/or Apprenticeship Levy - provision for these in the charge rate fields as these are legal requirements for temporary workforce

‘Pension’ field is now available on the Contract Workflow when PAYE is selected.
The calculation for this field works in the same way as National Insurance and the default percentage can be set within your Contract Workflow settings.

develop an API so we can use it to develop our own dashboards
An API would allow us to extract data from the tool and input it to a dashboard specific software i.e. Alik or Power BI giving us real-time data rather than having to download multiple reports

Delete images in the image manager
Please can we delete images in our image manager as after 6 years ther are loads of images that we no longer require.

Count emails to potential matches as a mailer
Currently if you send a bulk email to your potential matches list on a job it will send it to them even if they have opted out of email marketing. This is risky with the new GDPR guidelines and it would be better if this was also counted as marketing so if someone opts out they don't receive these messages.

Allow major job boards to auto populate fields at application stage
We use CW Jobs and have discovered that 50 - 90% of job applications are aborted by candidates once they hit the "apply" button and are taken to the Firefish URL (requiring entry of name, email, mobile number, attach CV, and how did you "hear of us" fields.)
The alternative to using the URL is receiving applications by email, but this totally defeats the idea of Firefish.
CW Jobs are willing to auto populate all of these fields to make it easier for candidates to apply and to increase applications via FF by a huge percentage, but would need to…

Lock Down Fields for certain users
It would be very good if you could lock down fields to only a team of users that could only update or complete the field.
We rely heavily on our compliance team and if certain fields were locked down it would create a control for a business in sending fully compliant contractors on site.4 votes
